Parade |

| Each year the Festival features
a patriotic mix of floats, drill teams, antique cars, clowns
and sometimes even kazoo bands! The Fun Fourth parade will
begin at 9:30 a.m. Prizes will be awarded for Most Patriotic
Unit, Best Interpretation of Theme and Best in Parade. Floats,
musical marching units, patriotic characters and anyone interested
are encouraged to march in the parade. Sponsored

Children's
Village |
|
| Red,
white and blue is the theme with patriotic dress a must. The
Childen's
Village will include arts and crafts, hands-on displays and
demonstrations, science experiments and much more. Stilt walking
clowns, sand art, balloon animals. a games tent and fun science
will keep the kids entertained. The Stage will be power packed
with headline entertainers. |

Amusement
Rides |
|
| Amusement Rides are
always a favorite. Climb the giant slide, climb inside a giant
caterpillar, fly on a ladybug, twist and swing on the frolic,
bounce, jump and play on all of the fun rides. |

| Craftscene |
|
| Over 100 artisans and craftsmen
offer their most treasured and unique wares for sale. From
handcarved wooden toys to decorated baskets to fine handcrafted
jewelry, Craftscene is a great place to search for new treasures,
so bring your checkbook. |

Cool
Mist Rain Tunnels
|
|
| This 'cool' exhibit
will help bring down the temperature. A simulated rain mist
is constantly pumped into a tent creating a fun, cool and unique
festival experience. |

Beer Garden

| At Stage 1, at the corner of
Summit & Lindsay across from the Greensboro Historical
Museum, right in the heart of entertainment, delicious foods,
soft drinks and, of course, ice cold beer. |
